Examples of the artificial reconstruction of reality is a source of inspiration for Vicky Lema. The artist has a fascination for strange places and fragments of a landscape with a strange atmosphere. She starts from images she has found of places that appear strange or constructed. The process of rebuilding reality or distancing yourself from it and the creation of unknown spaces is exactly what the artist wants to paint. An image of reality fades and gets replaced by a created space.
