Manon De Craene gets inspired by nature, this is always the starting point of her work. The viewer gets a strange feeling because Manon manipulates elements and structures from the landscape and puts them entirely in her own hand. Lines, shapes and colors become a chaotic collection on canvas that all enter into dialogue with each other. Her oeuvre balances on the edge of chaos and tranquility.
