Edith Ronse

Edith Ronse shows us sculptures in which she has isolated parts of the human body in a frozen, still action. Body parts that are conceived are constructed in a fragmented situation. Through these spatially designed actions, the lack of the body itself is intensified but not negated, and they rather appear to be archetypes of concentrated tension and subtle dynamics. The mystery lies in the isolated event.
