When checking out the work of this artist up close, it is almost impossible to fix your eye at one point in the painting. You are forced to look at all sides of the canvas. This necessary eye movement takes you through the painting. From a distance you will experience a clear structure. In this way the paintings are twofold and force the viewer to look a certain direction. The artist invites the viewer to unravel the structures and the application of the paint itself.
