Teun Voeten is an author, (war-)photographer and cultural anthropologist. He has been taking his audience to conflict areas around the world for 25 years. He mainly makes subjective, journalistic report images. The series in the Bernice collection are lighter. Photographs made with his classic analogue Hasselblad and 50mm wide-angle lens on the Antwerp Sinksenfoor in 1985. What appears in this series is that the city is changing, but the fair is not.
