Stephanie Van De Velde

With a technical camera, Stephanie Van de Velde goes in search of a certain typology of characters and the typical attitudes of people. In her images it becomes clear that despite the diversity of people you can still discover clear patterns in a crowd. The people she portrays are completely unaware of the camera’s presence. As an observer, you can lose yourself in her images and constantly notice new characters.

Since 2008 she has been exhibiting her work all over the world, in Belgium, Spain, Italy, USA, Canada and Japan.
