Bert Prins paints his canvases with bright colors. The recognizable themes are pop-art inspired and often scenes from everyday life. They seem to be made unrecognizable up close. Color areas mislead the viewer. When one takes a distance from the work and looks at it with a space in between, everything becomes clear and the image appears. The play between the screen and the viewer creates a dynamic, a special attraction.
