About Bernice

Founder and director of Bernice. Anik Eggermont holds a Master in Art History from the University of Ghent. After graduation she held several marketing positions in FMCG and worked as a consultant. Afterwards, having almost 10 years of experience in art rental, she founded Bernice in 2012. Building on her expertise, network and in-depth market knowledge, Bernice is growing ever since.

Jurgen is responsible for installing, logistics and conservation of the artworks within Bernice. He holds a Master degree in Painting from LUCA School of Arts in Ghent. His own artworks (paintings and sculptures) have been selected by national and international curators for group and solo exhibitions in Belgium and abroad. As a professional art handler and with his unique skill set he carefully handles even the most fragile artworks and finishes any installation impeccably.

Marnix Krekels is art handler at Bernice. As a young art professional, he handles every object safely and efficiently during installation and transportation. At the client’s he completes hanging an artwork with great care. His eye for detail and skills as a professional photographer – Marnix graduated as Master in Photography at Narafi in Brussels – make him a valued colleague who successfully finishes the job.
