Call for artists

The due date for this call is expired. Keep an eye on our social media for a next Open Call

Bernice is looking for emerging and established artists to participate our rental program

Bernice will guarantee a fair access to every artist who applies for this open call. We highly support inclusion and pay a great attention to diversity in our collection. We strive to equally represent artists M/F/X of all race.

Your questions answered:

I’m not a Belgian resident. Can I apply? You don’t need to be a Belgian citizen to apply but the condition of each work will be checked by our team so it should ideally be stored in Belgium. Every new piece of art will be stored in our warehouse before it will be presented to our – mostly Belgian – clients.

I’m selected (congrats!). What’s the next step? One of our team members will get in touch to plan a studiovisit. During this visit we will explain to you in detail how our art rental works, financially and logistic-wise. Afterwards a contract will be signed by both parties and a final selection of your art will be made and added to our collection.

Can I still withdraw my submission after being selected? Offcourse. Sorry to hear that but no strings attached.

When will artists be informed about their selection? The open call will be closed on March 1st. We will answer your application within 7 working days by email.
